Unmaru's second solo exhibition opened this past weekend at Gallery T in Daegu. The show called "Dimensions" explores our sensory and physical relationship with the content accessible only through the internet.
She writes "In 'Dimensions' I seek to explore the vast yet intangible quality of digital information accessible by the internet. The internet presents a wholly immersive world mentally and visually, yet there is no time where we are in direct physical contact with these landscapes.
There may be a time in the future where technology will unravel our connection to our physical surroundings by creating a fully engrossing sensory experience online, and so I present my work as small yet hypnotic windows into that uncertain destiny."
All the work in the show was 1/1 editions of lenticular prints of her online GIF pieces. The show will run from May 9th to July 4th, so be sure to check it out if you plan to be in Daegu :)
